Deepening Backbends Workshop give us access, in practice, to feel our inherent fullness and cultivate an open heart, to approach life from a perspective of fulfilment and abundance embodying contentment and possibility.
Learn how to create stability around the shoulders and arms, strengthen your legs, prepare the body for lengthening and the right actions. Allow the fullness of the breath to fill your upper body as you move towards a powerful backbend with ease: Urdhva Dhanurasana, Rajakapotasana and Natarajasana, Pincha Mayurasana. Yoga sessions are breath inspired practices that vary from meditative and rejuvenating (lunar) to challenging and empowering(Solar). The emphasis of the class is on alignment, breath and meditation. In every class we flow creatively through variations of sun salutations and all the groups of asana are integrated into sequences of Vinyasa to create full body transformation; strength and fluidity, circulation and centring.
