Vinyasa Krama refers to sequencing asanas and synchronizing the movement with the breath. Each movement in the vinyasa krama sequence is linked to inhalation or exhalation and each asana becomes a step within the flow. The yogi learns to listen to his/her body and each moment, each asana prepares and leads him/her to the next one. Rather than practicing each asana as an independent pose disconnected from the next one, vinyasa krama connects as the flowing energy of the universe. The mind, body, and breath are unified into a state of harmony. Krishnamacharya developed vinyasa krama as an approach to yoga practice. He saw it as key to the transforming process of yoga and not only applied it to asana practice but to all aspects of yoga.

The Chakras are 7 wheels of energy and consciousness, located at the central axis of the energetic body, along with the spine. They underlie and influence every aspect of our being: physical, vital-energetic, mental and emotional. We can work with these chakras through yoga practices and feel more balanced, centered and aware and therefore feeling more revitalized.
In this balancing and rejuvenating training course/retreat we explore and work on each of the Chakras intensively- each day clearing, balancing and activating through yogic powerful practices – from the base of the spine to the top. You can do this training in modules of one-week (36 credit-Hr) with one year time, maximum, between modules, or do it in two consecutive weeks. Upon completion of this two-week practice, you will be certified 100-Hr Chakra Vinyasa Certification, with which you can add to your existing certification or towards a 200 YTTC.
In Chakra Vinyasa we look more willingly, more closely and compassionately at some of the patterns that impact our choices and our ability to be in present time. Chakra flow begins to develop self –confidence, intuition, self-love, love for others and makes a shift in our perception as individuals within the collective.
Classes are in the English language. Daily morning practice & Theory 4,5 hr and afternoon additional 1,5 hr. Enough time left to enjoy the island, the sea, the sun and the Greek relaxed way of living. Mats and other props used are available at Yoga Shala, you don’t need to take anything with you. Practices will be at Yoga Shala in Naousa village. Some practices outdoors will be scheduled during the retreat. Some previous Vinyasa Yoga experience is required, due to the pace of the practice.

In the evening we will take a short walk to the Open Garden Restaurant for a delicious dinner.
Any cancellation or alteration of dates made within 40 days before the training course date results in a charge of 50% of the total cost of the course stay. Cancellation 14 days prior to the training course date, on the day of arrival, no show, or departure prior or during the training course scheduled dates results in a charge of the 100% of the total cost of the course.

Fly, You should arrive in Athens on the 4th before noon so you can take the bus to the Piraeus port and catch the 17:30 ferry to Paros with www.bluestarferries.com

The dinner menu at Open Garden restaurant has been developed by chef Elda Molla following basic Ayurveda principles creatively using different herbs, colours & textures. Elda Molla is a Greek-Belgian chef, owner of Open Garden Restaurant in Naoussa, Paros. She started working in a professional kitchen at the age of fourteen as a commis de cuisine and had her first acknowledged chef’s position a few years later, at the age of 21, after working with the Italian chef Lorenzo of La Strada restaurant in Athens.
