8-week Woman Yoga Mandala: a mind-body balance journey
A mind-body balance journey of awakening
Yoga, Ayurveda & Inspirational journaling
In a few days, I am releasing the 8-week Woman Yoga Mandala. This online course is a mandala of practices, a mind-body balancing journey for women to become integrated, strong, and internally free. To live in wellness. It is a process of becoming physically and internally stronger and more confident, a process of self-empowerment through yoga and ayurvedic self-care practices with professional support, which enables you to overcome any imbalance, body issue, or sense of powerlessness and to recognize and use your own resources.
Why for women?
Because I am a woman and know women better and I inspire them experientially by teaching what I have first experienced in my own being. Because women are key managers of natural resources and powerful agents of change. Women are mothers, they bring children into this world, and children are the future and the changing agent of this world.
If we are to have true peace in the world, we must first find it within ourselves.
Each one of us must find peace in ourselves first. If we don’t like ourselves, for example, we probably won’t like those around us. If we are in a constant state of inner conflict, then we will probably manifest conflict, attract conflicts, give it to our children and create conflict in the world. If we have to fight within our families, there can be no peace in the world. We must shine the light of inquiry on our internal struggles because this is the only place we can really create change.
It takes courage to push yourself to places you have never been before...to test your limits...to break through barriers. And the day came when the risk it took to stay tight inside the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. –Anais Nin
The practice of yoga is not about the asana postures but a path out of suffering through understanding and observing ourselves in practice, refining ourselves at all levels. Yes, it strengthens our body, and we can heal our body with yoga, but only if we practice sincerely and integrate all aspects of ourselves into that practice: Physical, mental, emotional, and vital, and through being present and taking the practice off the mat too, into our life.
‘ All life is yoga’- Sri Aurobindo
Each day offers us an opportunity to renew our intentions so we can be ready for change and know that we have done the inner work necessary to allow our lives to change. When we initiate the process of looking inside ourselves for the meaning of peace, we will begin to understand why it has always been so difficult to come by. Being at peace with ourselves is not about denying or rejecting any part of ourselves. On the contrary, in order to be at peace, we must be willing and able to hold ourselves, in all our complexity, in a full embrace that excludes nothing. Guided Inspirational writing & journaling is another transformational modality that plays a fundamental role in this process of mind-body balance as it allows us to reflect and inquire about ourselves, allowing us to realize our true needs.
Yoga connects us to our inherent source of power and awakening brings with it empowerment.
What makes a woman confident is her ability to call upon her feminine wisdom. A woman does not need to step into an assertive role or act like a man in order to be effective at what she does-\-she simply needs to get in touch with her insight and sense of compassion to truly demonstrate the depth of her strength. The strength of a woman is depth; it is listening to the feminine side of herself: it may not seem easy at first, for it is something that is often overlooked in many aspects of our everyday lives. If we can connect with this part of who we are, however, we will find that there is an unlimited wellspring of strength available to us.
When we learn to integrate ourselves, we can bring this source of strength into our daily tasks and decision-making. We can be more flexible and open to the things that happen around us and more creative. Not only will we see the world in a different light, but we will truly start to realize our own potential to empower both ourselves and those around us.
This source of strength comes when we bring our body-mind to a state of lasting balance, and then we are eager to be receptive and realize the divine within ourselves and within all, to forgive, love, and awaken to live a joyful life!
My questions for you are…
Are you ready to start listening to your body and finally giving it the nourishment it needs (and has been begging you for)?
Are you ready to put your health first, sometimes before your immediate taste?
Are you willing to put in a bit more time into your self-care practice, even if it means sleeping earlier so you can wake up earlier?
Are you willing to take in new advice with openness and receptivity, even if it seems far out and unlike anything you’ve heard before?
I hope the answers are yes!
